There’s no doubt Bar Alimentar is currently the coolest dining room in Lisbon. It’s Southern Italy one night, Piemonte the next. It’s Negroni on tap, Pavarotti in the background, fine dining (but without the fine). A place where friends gather, meals stretch into the night, and you always have to order the cannoli.

For Pedro (ISTO. co-founder) and João (the chef behind Bar Alimentar), it’s also personal. A friendship that’s lasted more than 20 years, now served up as a collaboration. And, of course, a reason to celebrate. On September 14th we filled the place with clients, friends, and friends of friends — a long-table celebration of food, conversation, and a gathering we won’t forget anytime soon.

A dinner to remember served as the perfect backdrop to introduce some cool merch: a Heavyweight T-Shirt coming with a back print with some of their most iconic dishes, and a Denim Cap finished with an embroidered homage to Bar Alimentar’s famous dish: the pistachio and codfish cannoli.

This collaboration is about celebrating a place that’s become the dining room of a neighborhood where there's an authentic connection to italian culture, a friendship that’s stood the test of time, and the kind of energy you only get when good food, drinks music, and people come together just right.
