WHY MADE IN PORTUGAL?
Since the Industrial Revolution, northern Portugal (especially Braga and Porto regions) has become one of Europe’s most respected textile hubs, thanks to generational know-how and a fascinating ability to evolve while honouring tradition.
GENERATIONS OF CRAFTMANSHIP
The textile boom began in the late 19th century with pioneers like Narciso Ferreira in Riba d’Ave laying the foundations of mills, weaving, and finishing expertise that have been passed on through families for over a century. That means our suppliers know linen’s memory, cotton’s strength — often by heart.

ETHICAL PRODUCTION
Our factories comply with strict EU labor standards, including minimum wage and health & safety protections. In the North, textile workers benefit from average wages above the legal floor, and factories maintain environmental practices regarding water treatment & emissions.
TEXTILE INNOVATION HUB
Portugal invests heavily in textile R&D. Industry partners like CITEVE (leading the €138M “Be@t” program to scale bio-based materials and circular design) and ATP facilitate collaboration, testing, training, and certifications (OEKO-TEX®, EcoLabel), giving us access to international standards and best practices all from our backyard.

PROXIMITY TO
LOCAL LEADERS
Being headquartered in Lisbon with partners in northern Portugal makes logistics fast, transparent, and less carbon‑intensive. Transporting stock from the North to here is quicker and more traceable than long-haul imports. In terms of speed, cost, and ecological footprint. You simply can’t beat geography.
What this means for you: traceable quality, intrinsic ethical values and a long-term investment in clothing that outlast fashion's hype cycles.
