IMPACT REPORT - HOW IT WOKS
SUPIMA COTTON
Every item in our permanent collection has its own unique journey, cost, and impact on both humanity and the planet. That's why we're dedicated to providing full traceability. Our goal is to appreciate and value our clothing on a deeper level, diverging from the norms of the fashion industry.
But what does full traceability really mean? It means tracking down every step of the process for each component of every garment. It may sound complex, but producing locally allows us to maintain greater control over every stage and ensure that all standards are met.
THE SUPIMA T-SHIRT
We believe that sustainability demands a transparent supply chain. That’s why we map our chain and openly share it. We pave the way by prioritizing trusted partnerships with local suppliers that follow responsible practices through certified standards. It’s the only way forward.
Highly traceable at 72%, the Supima T-Shirt’s original fibre (extra long SUPIMA® cotton) is sourced from the US. Then, it is meticulously crafted in Portugal, which means its production overall impact is relatively low, as it represents less distance in kilometres, as well as water consumption (less 78%) and carbon emissions (less 36%) savings in comparison to the industry standards.
