FREVO'S TASTING MENU:
8 REASONS TO STAY
IN NYC FOREVER

New York has no shortage of speakeasies. Bars hidden behind pawn shops, coffee counters, neon-lit phone booths — you name it. But a Michelin-starred restaurant tucked behind an art gallery? That’s a different level of mystery.

Meet FREVO, a 16-seat dining room disguised as a contemporary art space in Greenwich Village. You step inside, admire the artwork, and just when you start wondering if you’ve got the wrong address, you're welcomed to the city's best-kept secret.

The restaurant is the brainchild of Franco Sampogna, a Brazilian chef with an impeccable fine-dining résumé, and Bernardo Silva, a Portuguese restaurateur with an eye for both food and art. Together, they’ve crafted a space where gastronomy meets gallery, and where every dish is as much a visual masterpiece as the paintings that line the walls.

Once inside, expect an eight-course tasting menu thrives on precision and creativity. There’s foie gras with black garlic and cocoa, scallops bathed in a velvety yuzu beurre blanc, and the kind of wagyu that makes you reconsider all past beef-related experiences. The kind of fine dining that doesn’t take itself too seriously but still hits perfection every time.

The entrance doubles as an ever-evolving art gallery, featuring works from up-and-coming contemporary artists. It’s this seamless blend of culinary and visual storytelling that makes Frevo a truly immersive experience.

Some restaurants impress. Some surprise. Frevo does both. It’s a place where the founders' deep influences dance through the dishes, where every course is a revelation, and where the entrance alone makes for one of the best dinner stories you’ll ever tell.

The perfect send-off before heading home. No number of awards could truly capture a place like this.

Thank you for having us.
