A WAY OF SEEING WITH PEDRO JARNAC
To capture things just right is an art. Making movies is almost a sort of dance — between the director, camera, lights and subject. Anyone can dance, but not everyone knows how to.
Pedro Jarnac has been dancing for a minute. And by dancing we mean directing, of course.
Born in Lisbon, he studied film in London, which he called home for a few years. He’s a director and producer at Bombom Filmes, a production company he co-founded with the goal of viewing advertising and cinema through a different lens.
Between Bombom Filmes and 1755, founded as an extension of the former focused on the international market, Pedro has showcased his impeccable eye for detail working with various well established international brands and artists, winning several awards at Festival do Clube de Criatividade Portugal.
That same attention to detail carries over into how he presents himself. Taste, much like directing, is all about intention. His style feels like a natural extension of his work: considered, confident, and never accidental.
Carefully matching a pair of socks with the red detailing on your sneakers, or with the drawstring of your hoodie. It’s these small, deliberate things that elevate a classic look.
Some pieces are meant to be held on to, like our Safari Jacket, which is no longer in our collection but keeps on holding a very special place in our hearts.
And we’re keeping an eye out on Pedro: his new upcoming short film “Rocha” is set to come out this year, and you won’t want to miss it.
